Features of different automation systems for analytic control of pulp products have been considered. Experimental evaluation of possibilities of modern energy- and wave-dispersive X-ray spectrometers during analysis of pulp with low concentration of determined elements under the conditions of intense variation of obstructive factors has been presented. Possibility of efficient usage of energy-dispersive spectrometers or their main components — miniature X-ray tubes and compact devices for detection and analysis of X-ray quantum in industrial systems for analytic pulp control has been shown.
