Opening the meeting of the Commission on the Modernization and Technological Development of Russian Economy on 29 April, 2010 in Obninsk, the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev presented the materials which showed that national medicine, especially medical technologies, was backward . He also set the goals for acceleration of development in this direction.
