| Реферат | The paper presents 3D numerical stress–strain modeling of rock mass to forecast rockburst hazard in the promising Gakman block of the Yukspor deposit, Khibiny Massif. The research addresses the vital task of mining safety at mineral deposits liable to dynamic rock pressure manifestations. The numerical modeling was carried out using the finite element method and SigmaGT software with regard to the geological structure of the Gakman block, physical and mechanical properties of rocks and the in-situ tectonic stress field. Background values and orientations of the principal stress vectors are determined. Potentially hazardous compression concentrations in the abutment pressure zones under overlying rocks of the Yukspor deposit are identified as the sites that create the risk of dynamic rock pressure events. Significant tensile stress zones are revealed in overlying rock mass, which are expected to promote systematic rock falls as mining is advanced in the Gakman block. Local-scale modeling results proved the impact exerted by the diagonal orientation of the maximum principal stress vector relative to the ore body strike on the stress concentration at the roof–wall junction. This effect must be taken into account when planning support operations and designing destress drilling patterns. The obtained results provide a scientific basis for enhancing mining safety through early identification of potential rockburst-hazardous zones, stoping design optimization, as well as sequencing of extraction and support operations in underground openings in the Gakman block. |
