A technology has been developed for selective beneficiation of copper-arsenic-tin-tungsten ore to produce copper concentrate, arsenic product, rough tungsten concentrate, gravity and flotation tin concentrates. The proposed scheme includes: flotation extraction of copper and arseniccontaining minerals, high-intensity magnetic separation for extracting wolframite and iron-containing minerals, finishing of the magnetic fraction using gravity-magnetic separation, separation of the non-magnetic fraction into size classes of –0.3+0.1; –0.1+0.025 and –0.025 mm, gravity concentration of the –0.315+0.1 mm fraction and flotation concentration of the –0.1+0.025 mm fraction. Special reagent modes have been developed for flotation concentration of copper and tin, including the use of a combined M-TF-421 based collector for copper flotation and a new highly efficient three-component collector based on fatty acids for cassiterite flotation. This collector, when flotating material with a size of –0.1+0.025 mm, provided a tin concentration level of over 40 with an extraction of 90.8%. From the ore containing 0.90% copper, 0.74% tin, 0.08% tungsten trioxide and 2.49% arsenic, a copper concentrate was obtained containing 48.5% copper with an extraction of 78.92% (from the ore), a total arsenic product containing 22.68% arsenic with an extraction of 91.42%, a crude tungsten concentrate containing 13.2% tungsten trioxide with an extraction of 44.55%, a gravity tin concentrate containing 47.79% tin with an extraction of 48.31%, a flotation tin concentrate containing 46.8% tin with an extraction of 23.09% and a low-grade tin concentrate containing 4.19% tin with an extraction of 1.99%. The combined tin concentrate contains 37.09% tin with an extraction of 73.39%. The mineral composition of all the obtained tin concentrates makes it possible to further increase the tin content in them using gravity, magnetic and flotation concentration methods. The work was carried out with the participation of the head of the mineralogical department, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “VIMS” Elena Germanovna Ozhogina, leading specialist of the mineralogical department of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “VIMS” Yulia Nikolaevna Shuvalova. |
