Реферат | The article presents the studies aimed at the identification of the gas-bearing intervals in mine roof rocks in the southeast of the mine field of EuroChem-Usolsky Potash Plant in order to define the parameters of preventive degassing drilling to eliminate gas dynamic phenomena in the form of sudden collapses of roof rocks accompanied with gas release. The southeastern area of the mine field of EuroChem-Usolsky Potash Plant is characterized with an increased content of clay layers and interlayers in roof rocks in roadways, which significantly complicates preventive degassing. However, the distribution patterns of near-contact accumulations of free gases in roof rocks, which are potential sources of gasdynamic phenomena, were never studied in this area of the mine field. The preventive degassing drilling parameters in this area of the mine field require correction and adjustment, taking into account the geological structure of roof rocks and the distribution patterns of contact accumulations of free gases. The results of the in-situ experimental studies into the distribution patterns of contact accumulations of free gases show that contact accumulations of free gases adjoin the clay layers and interlayers in roof rocks in the interval from 1.0 m to 2.5 m along the depth of the research boreholes. It is found that at the stage of development work in the southeast of the mine field of EuroChem-Usolsky Potash Plant, the sufficient length of the preventive degassing drilling to eliminate gas dynamic phenomena in the form of sudden collapses of roof rocks accompanied with gas release is not less than 2.5 m with the mandatory exposure of the contact of silvinite seam KrI and rock salt seam A’ - KrI. |
