Реферат | Increased duration of operating campaigns of basic oxygen converters can be achieved e.g. via more intensive slag splashing, but it can lead to more restricted requirements for wear and state of plugs for inert gas purging. RHI AG company expanded its existing range of purging plugs for increased volumetric consumption with the models MHP46 and MHP100 of Power Plug series. The industrial testings have been conducted in several steelmaking shops and displayed increased readiness of purging plugs MHP46 in the conditions of low controlled wear and evident improvement of technological parameters even during intensive slag splashing. Purging plugs for extra high volumetric gas consumption (e.g. MHP100) can be easily inserted in lining due to its fine tuning and are characterized by relatively low wear speed; thereby they allow to test the new operating conditions of converter purging. |
