Реферат

The paper presents changes in the microstructure and macrostructure of self-sufficient agglomerate during temperature variation. Influence on different processes occurring in a blast furnace are determined on the base of interaction between structures and functions. It is shown that metallurgy with its enormous empiric and scientific experience in blast furnace practice has accumulated the steady traditions and large luggage of knowledge. Based on these traditions and knowledge, and using functional morphological approach for agglomerate processing, the basic chemical and physical processes during blast furnace melting and reduction are observed. Agglomerate components and physical requirements to the blast furnace process are considered. It is concluded that possibility of stable conducting of the main technological reduction and melting processes in restricted layers of bulking and melting is a decisive factor due to distribution and fixation of charge materials in agglomerate particles. It provides ordered and efficient metallurgical operation and explains large effect of agglomerate on melting capacity of modern blast furnaces.
