Реферат | Our paper considers the problems of losses of activated carbons and gold, adsorbed on them during the gold mining. Together with foreign Standard ASTM D3892–16, the Russian State Standard GOST 16188–70 is not suitable for the choice of carbonaceous sorbents, working in abrasive pulp environments. We offered a method, which may be considered as a basis for creation of Russian regulations for selection of mechanically-strong coals in the processes of sorption cyanidation. In detail, we described a strength detection method during the abrasion of granules of activated carbon in pulp. This method allows us to single out the strongest sorbent for the CIP and CIL processes. We present the results of the tests for detection of mechanical strength of activated carbons in comparison with the data, given in the accompanying forms of companies – producers of coal adsorbents. We considered the possibilities of decreasing the losses of granulated carbonaceous adsorbents and gold (I), adsorbed on them in the process of sorption cyanidation of gold-bearing ores. This process is the most expensive as far as coal consumption is concerned. |
