Construction of the bright annealing unit with metallic hermetic technological space and special compaction systems ensure usage of protective gas with high reaction ability. It is possible to provide bright annealing of wide grade range of materials: stainless steels, Cr–Al–Fe alloys, Cr–Mn steels, Ni-based alloys, duplex steels, titanium alloys etc. Combination of precise adjusting of strip tension using compensating roller that is integrated in the technological space, and efficient heating devices used natural gas, together with application of Hicon/H₂ technology provide efficient manufacture of high-quality strip. Economical efficiency of this technology makes 20 Euro/t. At present time Ebner technology is used at least at 60 annealing lines worldwide; the company is ready to adapt this equipment meeting the requirements of any individual customers on the tailor-made base, with consequent integration of innovative application concepts of these technologies.
