Реферат | In terms of mines subjected to closure in the Kemerovo Region, the authors demonstrate the importance of ecological monitoring of the mining-adjacent territories. It is proposed to use the monitoring data to delineate hazardous areas and to develop special organizational-and-technical measures for them with a view to preventing the risk of toxic gas emission from the closed mines to the daylight surface. As a method of estimation of the ground surface deformation parameters, a series of instrument mine surveys was carried out. The hydrochemical monitoring of groundwater was conducted in holes and mine roadways connected with the ground surface. The groundwater quality was evaluated in order to determine the impact of selfdischarged or pumped-out mine water on the surface water bodies above and below the water disposal point. The monitoring of effluents of flooded mines shows the absence of a clear trend in the formation of wastewater composition. The range of concentrations of ingredients is different in each mine as the groundwater composition forms in a mining lease area specific for each mine. The main pollutants of the surface water bodies are suspended solids and toxic metals of iron and manganese. Nearly all mine effluents contain oil product, phenols, hydrogen sulphide, nickel and chromium. Analysis of the hydrochemical monitoring data shows that the issues connected with mine flooding and maintaining of permissible fl ood water level remain high-priority problems for the whole period of mine closure. The gas-dynamic monitoring, ground surface subsidence observations and hydrochemical monitoring point at persistence of aggravating environmental impact of the formerly operating mines. The recommendations on measures toward ecologically safe life activity at the formally operating mine objects and in the adjacent territories are given. |
