The results of the studies on possible increase in flotation properties contrast of scheelite and calcite mono-mineral fractions using combinations of oxyhydrillic collectors: ionogenic collector (sodium oleate) and a low-polar compound (isododecyl alcohol) are presented. The difference in sorption character of iso-alcohols and sodium oleate in presence of the former on calcite and scheelite surface is shown. The effect of calcite (limestone and marble) on scheelite floatability was appraised. Ranges of carbonate module and conditions for sheelitecalcite complex separation were determined. The results of scheelite flotation from the Vostok-2 deposit scheelite-carbonate ore with WO3 mass fraction of 0.67 % and СаСО3 mass fraction of 18.0 % were defined more exactly. At the Primorskaya Plant, with sodium silicate (water glass) consumption of 350 g/t and that of sodium oleate being 150–300 g/t, minimum scheelite loss was achieved. Scheelite rougher concentrate yield with WO3 mass fraction of 6.6–4.8 % and СаСО3 mass fraction of 31–29 % was 7–11 %, recovery of scheelite and calcite being 91.6-94.2 % and 17–22 %, respectively. Scheelite recovery into saleable concentrate was 83.3–85.7 %. At the Primorskaya Plant, water glass consumption increase to 1.0 kg/t (collector consumption being 300 g/t) leads to steady production of saleable concentrate and rougher concentrate yield decrease to 4 %, but also to scheelite recovery decrease to 76 %. With water glass consumption of 1.9 kg/t (collector consumption being 150 g/t), minerals flotation is stopped. The studies on mono-mineral fractions were performed with the aid of the Russian Foundation of Fundamental Research (the Grant 17-05-00241). |
