Реферат

VDEh Institute of Industrial Research (BFI) and Deutsche Edelstahlwerke GmbH (specialized in high-quality steel production) have developed the chemical process for titanium carbide extraction from industrial wastes. This development has been realized in the framework of the project “RecyTiC” sponsored by the Federal Ministry of education and Scientific Investigations. The suggested process provides saving of valuable raw materials. It is shown than titanium carbide can be extracted from titanium chip via so-called raw chemical method based on leaching and afterwards again used after corresponding treatment. Analytical results have testified practical absence of binding metals what confirm complete chip dissolution. It can be mentioned that dissolution of 42 t of chip provides annual profit about 400,000 Euro. It is possible to use also other methods for extraction of valuable materials. e.g. dissolution of cobalt-containing binding metal in order to extract tungsten carbide. But it requires additional researches connected with ultrasonic technology for increase of dissolution rate of chemically stable matrix of solid metal.
