The article presents data suggesting the appropriateness of integrating the pre-concentration stage by X-ray radiometric separation (XRRS). Results of separating ores from the Skrytoye deposits and waste dump ore of the Primorye beneficiation plant using SibRados separators (Krasnoyarsk) and data generated by Vital Metals Ltd. on concentrating low-grade scheelite ore on XR-3000 separator are presented. Flotation studies on separation concentrates (upgraded ore assaying 0.6–1.2% WO3) showed very good results. Processing of the upgraded ore from the PBP waste dumps produced concentrates of 65–70% WO3 at a recovery of 86–84%. Flotation of the unsorted –5+0 mm size fraction yielded a concentrate assaying 30.6% WO3 with 37.7% recovery. The option of its pre-concentration by gravity was considered. The table concentrate (35–40% yield of the feed) assaying 0.8–0.9% WO3 at a recovery of about 80% can also be fed to the flotation in the PBP standard flow-sheet. An integrated flow-sheet for the beneficiation of mining wastes is recommended, scheelite recovery being 70.6%.
