Реферат | The article is dedicated to the problem of hydraulic impact prevention in mainline pipelines, transporting liquid-gas mixtures (slurries). It is shown, that impact pressure magnitude depends on slurry flow velocity and speed of propagation of a shock wave, determined by elastic properties of pipeline walls and slurry, as well as density of the latter. It is shown, that with pressure in delivery pipeline exceeding 2 MPa, it is necessary to take into consideration volume viscosity of transported slurry as that of a multiphase system (water — continuous medium, solid particles and gas — dispersed phases). Volume viscosity of liquids and slurries is determined experimentally by means of the liquid fluid ultrasonic waves absorption method. Speed of propagation of a shock wave at pressures below 2 MPa may be determined without taking into account elastic properties of pipeline walls, but with consideration of gas content in slurry. Recommendations are given with respect to operation of valves and other safety relief devices. Examples of calculations are presented. |
