The factors of assessment of sustainable development were chosen and analyzed. Innovation potential in production, management and financing spheres was substantiated together with necessity and significance of clear definition of development purposes of holding, made by majority shareholders, and will of these shareholders for realization of strategy, which takes into account the raw material and labor resources provision. There were offered the values for assessment of efficiency of methods of sustainable development of mining and metallurgical holding. There was made an assessment of developmental stability of copper branch holding.
