Реферат | Level 2 process control systems from Siemens VAI have produced exact predictive and online calculations of the ongoing heat in BOF converters for a long time. In combination with new and improved products, using operational data, unprecedented simulations of the real process are feasible. This article describes advantages, operational results and preconditions. The models of steel melting technological processes that were the objects of control and management are described. Operation of horizontal and vertical measuring lances for detecting temperature and sample taking is described. During industrial experiments at least 18 packages with models of technological process and measuring lances have been installed and the typical example of such installation for 160 t converter has been displayed. Simulating temperature in the end of blowing process was compared with actually measured temperature and deviation didn’t exceed ±15 °C for 90% of cases. As concerns carbon content (in the range between 0.03 and 0.06%), deviation wasn’t more than ±0.01 in 89% of cases. Chemical composition and the moment of blowing finishing were determined, the results of industrial testings of Dynacon system were presented. Operation of scrap weighing system and melt firing control system are analyzed. It is concluded that positive eff ect can be achieved using up-to-date remedies for simulation of technological process. |
