Реферат

The article is dedicated to a method of mineral processing facilities' effluents and liquid waste purification — membrane filtration, intended to remove insoluble impurities. It is noted, that this method of purification increasingly becomes of current concern. The problems that hinder a wider application of membrane filtration technology are described; one of them being a decrease of filtration rate over a long operation period due to membrane fouling and phenomenon of polarization. The methods that are used in industrial practice with a view to decrease membrane fouling are described, among them are a correct choice of membrane type and feed material characteristics. The article presents the results of an experimental filtration study performed on a commercially used membrane material. The methods for membrane surface modification with titanium dioxide and a comparative estimate of highmolecular organic compounds solutions membrane filtration results are described. It is shown, that regardless of a chosen method of titanium dioxide application to membrane surface, membrane hydrophilicity and permeability are increased, and surface fouling is decreased.
