Реферат

The study was performed with the purpose to investigate strength characteristics of rocks used for production of crushed stone for construction purposes. It is noted, that an informationbearing characteristic, relating rock strength with its internal structure factors, is porosity, meaning total of all voids, including microcracks, pores and cavities between grains and their aggregates, as well as inside them. The results of gneissogranite pore space structure study by the computed tomography method (X-ray micro-CT) are presented. Pore space quantitative characteristics: pore quantity, volume, specific surface area, size and spherical shape factor are established. Pore spatial orientation in samples structure was studied. It was established, that rock pore space structure changes in disintegration. In disintegrated rock pieces, with decrease in total pore quantity, pore total volume and specific surface area are increased. Total porosity is increased owing to appearance of newly formed voids and microcracks, as well as through fine pores being joined by the latter, forming larger pores.
