Реферат

Medical geology studies the connection between geological factors and health. It has long been recognized that the environment has an influence on the people's health.
Development of medical geology is divided on two basic branches – regional and local. The opportunities of the first branch are considered on the example of the Turan Plate and its mountain surround, characterized by wide spectrum of deposits. The second branch is closely associated with identification of the influence of limited group of toxicants in the certain region and conditions, which have an influence on the spread of a certain disease. This branch is considered for uranium deposits. Radiation influence on human and its effect are considered in terms of disease of visual organ.
Geochemical specialization of excreted mineragenic taxons defines the deficiency or excessive capacity of various elements. This specialization makes it possible to estimate the epidemiological situation for identification of the spheres of prophylaxis and improvement of the quality of life of population. A three-stage scheme of application of objective monitoring of geological environment is recommended as the most purposeful method of ecological investigations for the purpose of solving of the foregoing tasks. It is proved that environmental protection activities should be realized on each stage of mastering of deposits of geological prospecting and mining enterprises and rehabilitation of territories.
