Carrying conditions of geological prospecting works have become more complicated in the recent years, which caused the decreasing of efficiency of these works and resolving capacity of seismic survey. Seismic survey is the basic research method for morphology and internal structure of prospective oil and gas facilities.
In connection with this, the specialists from Research and Production Center “Geoneftegaz” developed the following non-standard methods of studying of researched areas:
-seismic survey AMOS (АМОС) — adapted method of three-dimensional seismic survey (technology of three-dimensional (3D) seismic survey, adapted to the territory);
-electrical survey FTEM-3D (technology of high resolution electrical survey with measurement of induced polarization parameter);
-high resolution gravity survey;
-various methods of processing and interpretation of geophysical data;
-computer technology for calculation of oil and gas reserves.
These methods were realized in practice of geological prospecting works.
Implementation of these technologies made it possible to realize the following tasks:
-significant increasing of efficiency of geological prospecting works;
-revelation of the previously unknown oil and gas bearing facilities within the researched oil and gas territories and new areas;
-significant expanding of boundaries and volumes of already known deposits.
The developed complex of geophysical technologies is widely approved in Nenets National Okrug, Udmurtia, Ulyanovsk Oblast, Saratov Oblast, in Stavropol Krai and Krasnodar Krai, as well as in Western and Eastern Siberia.
