Реферат

Operations, related to introduction of mathematical methods and computer facilities in geology, have been being held since the late 1940-s till nowadays. These operations are conductive to significant increasing of efficiency of geological research and use of subsoils.
This article presents the analytical review of the basic results of these operations:
1. Since the second half of 1940-s till 1950-s.
Beginning of application of mathematical methods and data processing machines for solving the scientific and applied tasks in geology.
2. Since 1960-s till 1980-s.
Creation of integrated automated control and processing system of geological prospecting information — Automated Control System–Geology (ASUGeologiya) — of the Ministry of Geology of USSR, and automated control system in allied industries.
3. The late 1980-s.
Creation of Geosystem: inter-industrial State automated system of collection and processing of data of geological, geophysical and geochemical researches at four levels of supervisions (space-air-earth-well).
4. Since 1990-s till 2000-s.
Creation of a State Bank of Numerical Geological Information and formation of unified information system of subsoil use in Russia.
5. Nowadays.
Wide application of information-computer technologies and telecommunication systems in geological scientific researches, geological survey and subsoil use.
There are defined the prospects of further improvement of information and computer guaranteeing of geological scientific researches, geological prospecting works and subsoil use for the forthcoming period.
