Реферат | Ural is one of leading mining regions in Russia. The territory of Ural Federal District is an operating area for such large enterprises as Kachkanar Ore Dressing and Processing Enterprise, «Uralasbest» JSC, «Magnezit» enterprise and Koelga open pit for marble extraction. All these enterprises efficiently use the open-cast mining method. This method is also applied for development of various mineral objects: Techenskoe and Yany-Turinskoe iron-ore deposits, Mikheevskoe and Tominskoe copper-porphyritic deposits, Tolinskoe and Otorinskoe lignite deposits, Novo-Shemurskoe polymetallic deposit etc. Open-cast mining is the only one acceptable method for extraction of construction rocks, facing stone, fluxing limestones, talc, kaolins and other types of mineral raw materials. Open-cast mining at Ural has rather favourable and longterm development prospects. |
