This article considers the issues of influence of world prices for copper on the profitability of processing of low-grade ores and concentration wastes. There is given a review of technologies and directions of processing of anthropogenic deposits for copper manufacturing at Mongolian-Russian Mining Corporation «Erdenet».
There is shown the interconnection of issues of processing of lowgrade ores and wastes as the resource base for manufacturing of products and sanitation of environment. Economic reasonability is explained along with ecological and social importance of inclusion of anthropogenic deposits as the source of mineral raw materials and one of the most important directions of decreasing of the cost price of output products. This article also considers the issues of usage of low-grade ores and wastes of processing of Mining Corporation «Erdenet» in the system of resource economics and rational environmental management.
