There was carried out the application analysis of diesel-trolleys, prospects of development and usage of diesel-trolley transport, produced by “Belorusian Autoworks” JSC (“BELAZ”) in mining industry. There are presented the basic advantages and disadvantages of application of diesel-trolleys: 1) the basic advantages of dump truck in trolley mode are: increasing of speed of dump truck on the slope; increasing of dump truck productivity by 10-20 %; increasing of intervals between the service of diesel engine; decreasing of wastes of fuel by 70-80 % in the trolley operation mode; decreasing of service cost of diesel engine, together with reduction of fuel consumption; minimizing of influence on the environment; decreasing of the level of noise and exhaust gases of the diesel engine; 2) the basic disadvantages are: increased requirements to the construction and quality of road carpet; requirements of additional costs on the creation and maintenance of branched contact network; increasing of cost of diesel-trolleys in comparison with the serial dump trucks with electric drive by 5-10 %; increasing of mass of diesel-trolley, in comparison with diesel engine-electric dump truck, in connection with installation of trolley equipment on the dump truck; additional capital investments into the quarry infrastructure (trolley system, substations, roads) and increasing of cost of diesel-trolley. The foregoing analysis shows, that the basic disadvantages of application of diesel–trolley are the additional capital investments into the open pit's infrastructure (trolley systems, substations, roads) and increasing of cost of diesel-trolley. According to the preliminary calculations, with a glance of increasing of productivity of mine dump trucks in the trolley mode, it can be made a conclusion, that the economy of wastes for fuel and engine service, can lead to the recoupment during 1–2 years. |
