This article shows the whole dimension-type range of series mine dump trucks with 30–360 t of payload capacity, which were produced by “BELAZ” JSC and auto-cross country capacity dump trucks with 25-50 t of payload capacity, produced by Mogilev Automobile Plant, named after S. M. Kirov (Mogilev Automobile Plant). There are given the main technical characteristics and information about the basic constructive improvements of open pit equipment and dump trucks with cross country capacity. The following mine dump trucks were introduced into the production for the purpose of differentiation of dimension-type range, according to the payload capacity, for more complete satisfaction of customer requirements:
- BelAZ-7517 mine dump trucks with 160 t of payload capacity;
- BelAZ-7531 mine dump trucks with 240 t of payload capacity;
- BelAZ-7560 mine dump trucks with 360 t of payload capacity.
The mine dump trucks with 55, 90, 110—136, 160, 220, 240, 320-360 t of payload capacity are equipped with the following compo-nents:
- high comfort cab;
- electronic facia, which provides the opportunity to control the state and operation of dump truck systems in optimal mode, on the basis of computer technologies, and to ensure the safety of movement process;
- modern dryer with adsorber;
- implemented modernized tire-pressure monitoring system.
There was mastered the manufacturing of BelAZ-7513, BelAZ-7517 and BelAZ-7530 mine dump trucks with the transmission of alternating current. This makes it possible to reduce the operating costs, raise the hauling efficiency, and to improve the tractive and dynamic qualities and exploitation characteristics in whole. There was also mastered the manufacturing of cross country capacity dump trucks with 25–50 t of payload capacity, including the auto-dump trucks MoAZ-7505 and hingedly articulated hauler dump trucks MoAZ-7506, produced by Mogilev Automobile Plant. Since 2012, the following obligatory options have been introduced in the standard basic integration for the purpose of improvement of output quality, increasing of service life and coefficient of technical readiness of Belarusian open pit equipment:
- the mine dump trucks with 30–45 t of payload capacity, equipped with the fire-fighting system with remote switching control; engine starting preheater; centralized lubrication system; and signaling device, in case of coming nearer the high-voltage line.
- the mine dump trucks with 55, 90, 110–136, 160, 220, 240, 320–360 t of payload capacity are equipped with the combined fire-fighting system with remote switching control and auxiliary subsystem in back axle; engine starting preheater; centralized lubrication system; signaling device, in case of coming nearer the high-voltage line; system of control of loading and fuel; telemetry tire-pressure monitoring system; and video observation system.
