Gornyi Zhurnal
The scope of the August 2019 Issue of Mining Journal (No. 8, 2019) embraces most traditional sections.
The issue opens with an article co-authored by the top officials of the Russian Copper Company and devoted to the company’s 15th anniversary. The article discusses relevant questions of deep-level access in the 50 Years of October Mine being one of the Company’s largest affiliates in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This issue also offers the concluding part of the publication on desired technological advance in the coal industry in Russia up to 2040 by the fellows of the Energy Research Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences (the first part—Mining Journal, No. 7, 2019).
Furthermore, this issue contains contributions from Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. For instance, one of the articles prepared by a team of authors illustrates practical mining waste management within the public–private partnership in compliance with the subsoil use legislation in force in Russia and Ukraine.
