The article by B. A. Kotlyar opens the July issue of the journal. The author suggests the ways to overcome low personnel involvement in solving the problem of economic growth, as well as the measures to develop the norms of the Industry Tariff Agreement and collective agreements for mining and smelting complex with their adaptation to the key goals of national projects.
This issue concludes publication of a series of articles dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Russian Copper Company. In conclusion, the authors consider the experience and features of development of the Tominsk and Mikheevsk copper ore deposits of the Southern Urals – large fields of relatively low-grade porphyry ores containing 0.3–0.5% of copper.
Publication of scientific and technical developments of VNIIHT also continues in the journal. In this issue there are published the articles on gold recovery from low-grade solutions and cleaning the heap leaching products of mercury, as well as the study of crystalline structure and phase transitions in complex oxides of Ln2Me2O7 (Ln — La–Lu, Me — Ti, Zr, Hf) type.
In addition, the article published in the Materials science section is worthy of notice. The authors consider an influence of scandium on structure formation, liquation processes and properties of AM4.5CD aluminium cast alloy.
