The 12-th issue of the Gornyi Zhurnal (Mining Journal) (December 2017) shows a complete list of it’s all papers, published in 2017.
The paper written by the members of the Energy Research Institute gives the analysis of the current state and prospects of coal mining growth in the Eastern Siberia. This large region has a wide amount of reserves for development and complete satisfaction of demand for coking energetic coals on inner and outer market.
Professors V. Arens and L. Shumilova tell about the problems of introduction of physical and chemical geotechnologies at Russian mining enterprises. The deep analysis of practice of application of various methods of physical and chemical geotechnologies defined many natural and technogenic mineral objects, suitable for their efficient mining.
Members of the Mining Institute of MISiS – V. Moseykin, A. Galperin et al – designed the automated control system «Orfey-1» for prevention of often and dangerous landslides on fill-up constructions of mining enterprises. Application of this system at the Stoilenskiy GOK showed its high efficiency in terms of the forecast of stability of dumps and tailing ponds.
The issue also describes another session of Interdepartmental meeting on exploration, use and protection of soils.
