Gornyi Zhurnal
The 9-th issue of "Gornyi Zhurnal" (Mining Journal) (September 2016) is devoted to the 60-th anniversary of the North-Eastern Federal University (former Yakutsk State University).
The University rector E I. Mikhaylova summarizes the contribution of the University in development of mining industrial complex of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). Her article tells about the University achivements in educational-pedagogical and scientific activity, and gives the information about the mining and geology specialists' graduation for the regional enterprises.
Mining Institute is one of the main system-forming subdivisions of the University. Its members wrote the articles about the large scale of the carried out works: technological and geomechanical exploratory works, offers for construction materials' production from domestic raw materials, improvement of regional and branch economics. Environmental protection and industrial safety are also considered.
