Obogashchenie Rud
The topics, brought up in the previous issues of the journal, are further developed in this issue.
So, the paper “The theory of gradient vibratory segregation effect as applied to screening process” (I. I. Blekhman, et al.) presents the results of the theoretical justification studies on loose material mixture vibratory gradient segregation condition, discovered by the authors (see the journal “Obogashchenie Rud”, 2015, No. 5). A mathematical model of separation devices, based on application of this effect, is proposed.
The paper “The Zavitinskoye lithium-beryllium deposit cut-off grade ores radiometric benefication methods study” (I. G. Balakina, et al.) is dedicated to the trying and testing of the earlier proposed approach to the Zavitinskoye lithium-beryllium deposit dumps preparation for flotation benefication by radiometric X-ray luminescent separation methods and polychromatic photometric sorting (see the journal “Obogashchenie Rud”, 2015, No. 2).
The spectral studies of the ore characteristics and dressability by X-ray luminescent method showed a possibility of concentrate production with Li2О mass fraction of 0.55-0.60 %, yield being 38-45 % and recovery of 74-80 %.
The review of the papers presented at the XXVIIth International Minerals Processing Congress was continued (I. I. Maksimov, et al.) (see the journal “Obogashchenie Rud”, 2015, No. 3). The subjects of the papers dedicated to design of processing flow sheets, management of ore-dressing facilities tailings, mineralogy, modeling and control of processes, classification, gravity and magnetic concentration were analyzed.
