Gornyi Zhurnal
The second issue of "Gornyi Zhurnal" (Mining Journal) (February, 2013) came out of press. This issue begins with the color insert, devoted to the 30-th anniversary of Taimyr mine (Polar Division of «Norilsk Nickel» MMC).
A part of this issue contains the materials about mining enterprises, and mining and industrial complex of Far Eastern Federal District, including activities of enterprises of «Polymetal» JSC.
The section «Outstanding figures in science and industry» tells about the interesting life of Dmitriy Nikolaevich Artemev – the founder and the first rector of Moscow Mining Academy (Moscow State Mining University).
Traditional sections of the issue include other articles, which share several sides of mining industry and science. There is presented the information about the carried out scientific and industrial conferences, and publication of monographes and reference books.
