Abstract

Vibratory screening is one of the most important and widely used processing operations, and plays a special role in power saving in disintegration. Being low energyintensive in itself, it permits to realize the fundamental principle «not to crush any extras», which is a direct way to power consumption economy in crushing and grinding of minerals and other materials. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to provide high efficiency of screening with stable intensification of production, which requires increasing unit capacity of the processing equipment used. The article presents some most characteristic examples of innovation developments by NPK «Mekhanobrtekhnika» in the area of vibratory screening, aiming at creation of highefficiency apparatuses with increased specific throughput rate for size classification of polydisperse mineral mixtures. Launching into manufacture such apparatuses will provide conditions for largescale implementation of powerefficient and resourcessaving technologies in disintegration of various materials.
