Abstract

The article is devoted to the research results of «DMIPEK» reagent application in flotation of copper and copperzinc raw materials of the South Urals region. To study flotation ability, the reagent was added to flotation as a) frother with properties of collector; and b) additional collector with frothing properties. Processing regimes, recommended for commercial treatment of the raw material in question, were used as a basis of comparison. The variable factor in the testing were the ratios of consumptions between «DMIPEK» reagent and SFK frother (caprolactam alcoholic fraction), and between «DMIPEK» reagent and BKK collector (potassium butyl xanthate). It is shown, that «DMIPEK» reagent application on different mineral assemblages permits to increase copper, gold and silver recovery into concentrate. It is noted, that consumption of the reagent and points of dosing must be determined for each specific type of raw material.
