Abstract

This article gives the results of research of composition of twotype ores of Tarnersky deposit — pyrite copper-zinc ore and pyrrhotite-pyrite copper-zinc ore. Ores is distinguish by content of pyrrhotite and pyrite, as well as the various content of pyrite mineral associations. There is established that prevalence of pyrrhotite under pyrite in ratio 2:1 needs the long-term aeration before the copper flotation. It is stated together with application of sulfhydryl collectors, which are more selective than butyl xanthate. There is proposed new sulfhydryl collector M2, which is more selective to pyrrhotite. This collector allows to obtain conditioned zinc concentrate in ore cycle from bulk flotation tailings.

The work was held with the financial support of the grant of The Russian Foundation for Basic Research No. 11-05-00765 and Ministry of Science and Education of Russian Federation (contract No. 16.515.11.5037).
