Abstract

The data on the technical level of the stateoftheart crushing and grinding equipment from the world leading producers' are presented. The technical characteristics of the latest cone and jaw primary crushers, as well as secondary and tertiary cone crushers, high pressure grinding rollers, autogenous and semiautogenous grinding mills, ball-mills, Vertimill and IsaMill from Metso Minerals, FLSmidth, Krupp Polysius, Humboldt Wedag, Koppern, Sandvik, Telsmith are briefly reviewed. Main parameters of the stateoftheart equipment from Russian producers «Uralmashzavod» JSC and «Tyazhmas» JSC are analyzed in comparison with the best foreign analogs. Main competitive advantages of the foreignmade equipment with regard to unit capacity and installed power parameters are revealed. A proposal is put forward to establish a transnational machinebuilding holding for production of crushers and mills, to be highly competitive with the best foreignproduced equipment. Recommendations are given with respect to product range diversification and improvement of the existing, as well as development of new promising types and ranges of ussianproduced crushing and grinding equipment.
