ArticleName Underground nuclear stations as the possible alternative to the refusal of the nuclear energy
ArticleAuthor Based on the materials by “Gornyi Zhurnal” No.8, 2011
Abstract

In connection with the tragic events at the Japanese Fukushima Nuclear Power Station, the authors represent Russian scientific and technical developments, projects and experimental industrial facilities of using the underground space for placing the nuclear power plants, reprocessing and burying of toxic wastes as an effective way of ensuring the protection of nature and human from the catastrophic impacts and the alternative to the refusal of the nuclear energy.
