The technique of definition of a technical condition of rotary and elevating reducers of a dredge on degree of heating of oil is offered. The idea consists in use of the complex approach to diagnostics of a condition of reducers: continuous control of temperature as indicator of a condition of system «rubbing pair — lubricant». For an establishment of dependence of temperature of oil and increase of mechanical impurity the experiment which results have shown dependence presence between temperature of heating of oil and deterioration of reducers has been made. It is revealed that the temperature of 90 degrees is critical. At oil rise in temperature concentration of mechanical impurity increases, and deterioration of the unit, hence, increases. Besides, necessity of updating of periodicity of carrying out of maintenance service and oil replacement for reducers is established. Through the use of the oil temperature as diagnostic parameter for determining the technical and the state of bending and lifting gear excavator can solve such problems as: protection of excavators from accidents (pre-emergency alarm); operational control of the excavator at the request of the driver (after the discovery of deviations in the temperature of oil); control of excavators after service (repair); longer intervals between routine maintenance and repair; reduce unplanned downtime equipment; savings on the purchase of new parts in result of the work planned preventive nature; increase in the actual operating time between overhauls; reducing the cost of repairs, etc. The solution of these problems will reduce unplanned failures of lifting and turning gear excavators and improve their reliability and durability.
