Реферат

At present time, oxidized ferruginous quartzites that are being comined as by-ore, are stockpiled and considered as a reserve for the national ferrous metallurgy raw materials source expansion. They are difficultly processed due to complex mineral composition and very finely disseminated minerals. The most effective and widely used processing method is reverse flotation by cation collectors, conducted in high-alkaline medium. Starch, used for depression of iron-containing minerals, is recommended to be applied with low slimes content in pulp. Non-deslimed ore flotation may be conducted by cation collectors without starch. Optimum results of cation flotation were obtained in alkaline medium (рН 11.0). In deslimed ore flotation, dextrin or alkaline starch (0.5 kg/t), is recommended as depressor, and «Lilaflot 811М» (0.16 kg/t) — as collector. Iron losses with deslimation overflow amounted to 25.7 %. In deslimed ore flotation, collector consumption increased to 0.3 kg/t, that of caustic soda — to 1.0 kg/t. Flotation time was increased by means of additional cleanings. With high iron content in flotation concentrate — 66.4 %, its recovery in ore flotation with pre-deslimation was equal to 64.2 %. In non-deslimed ore flotation, with the same concentrate grade, iron recovery was 72.9 %. The advantage of non-deslimed ore flotation consisted in absence of depressor (dextrin) and in possibility to use harder water, which produces a positive effect on subsequent utilization of return water.
