Abstract

The article considers operational possibilities of the KID inertia cone crushers. It is shown, that by means of crusher design and operating regime parameters optimization, crushed product yield may be increased in required size range. The inertia cone crusher improved mechanical-operational calculation algorithm is described, providing for determination of crusher kinematic parameters, sectional deformations, elastic energy selection in accord with known deformation. Ore grain-size distribution is determined on the basis of fractal disintegration theory relationships. The results of a new standard-size KID-1500 inertia cone crusher operation modeling are presented with regard to crushing chamber profile designed for cube-shaped crushed stone production. The rational combination of crusher's parameters for gabbro-diabase crushing is determined with regard to preset crushed stone size fraction yield increase.
