Реферат	Because of the enormous investments in the new construction of coking plants and due to the required reliable supply of high-quality coke, the coke plant operators are forced as a rule to operate their coke plants at a high productivity level for the longest time possible. The basic influencing factors for a long life time of a coke oven battery are the technical design and the equipment of the battery, the raw materials and their preparation, a stable operation of the plant, a preventive maintenance, a continuous control of the battery condition and a well educated staff.
