Abstract
The basic approaches to increasing the efficiency of broadband radio-absorbing nickel-zinc ferrites are developed. Requirements to their microstructure have been elaborated to provide for the occurrence of domain walls resonance at low frequencies (5—100 MHz). The effect of alloying additives on the absorption of electromagnetic waves is studied. The formation efficiency of coarse-grained structure with grain-boundary interlayers having high dielectric permeability is confirmed. It is established that the absorbing properties of ferrites raise with a reduction of the electric resistance of the grains if the dielectric properties of the boundaries are preserved.
