Abstract
A conceptual approach to selection of rational parameters of combined mining technologies to be applied for apatitenepheline, iron and diamond-bearing ore deposits has been developed by Mining Institute, KSC RAS, and implemented in some projects; the results of the approach implementation are presented in the paper. Substantiated and suggested in the paper are rational opening schemes, schemes of open-pit wall and open-pit bottom reserves preparation and actual mining, with joint operation of open-pit and underground mines in a single area being taken into account.
