Abstract
Features of computer technologies application of engineering support at various stages of rock mineral deposits development have been shown. The Mining Institute of Kola Scientific Center of Russian Academy of sciences has developed the MINEFRAME automation system for designing, planning and supporting mining operations. Complex solution of the geotechnology problems has been substantiated on the basis of general databases and unified software products line. The problems limiting rates and scales of the informational technologies application in mining have been identified.
