Abstract
Laboratorial experiments on cleaning of metallurgical gases with removal of sulphur dioxide via alumosulphate method are undertaken. Single-step and dual-step gas cleaning scheme for gases with low (0.19–1.2 %) content of sulphur dioxide are checked in stationary and removing conditions. Cleaning degree made more than 97 %. It is shown that countercurrent continuous dual-step cleaning scheme with production of commercial gypsum is the most efficient for gas desulphurization.
