As part of the work, studies were conducted to assess the feasibility of using the installation of hydrodynamic removal of dissolved iron compounds from water with post-treatment on ceramic membrane filters. In the framework of experiments on model water, the optimal number of water treatment cycles was established. It is proved that already at the 2nd cycle of water passage through the hydrodynamic block, the concentration of dissolved forms of iron (II) decreases to the level of standards. The effect of air injection on the liquid flow on the efficiency of oxidation of iron compounds to state (III) / is determined. It was established that an increase in the concentration of air supplied to the working chamber of hydrodynamic treatment in excess of 4.5 vol. % leads to a decrease in the efficiency of oxidation due to changes in the modes of fluid flow. Testing the proposed cleaning system on real artesian water. Water taken from the well of one of the enterprises localized in the Moscow Region is characterized by a high content of iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, as well as an increased hardness index. Water treatment according to the presented scheme allowed to completely remove the dissolved forms of iron compounds, as well as reduce by 10% the content of hydrogen sulfide and hardness salts. The proposed technology of water treatment will improve the quality of water entering the cooling circuit of an electric arc furnace, while it is possible to radically simplify the hardware scheme of the deferrization and filtration process. The proposed deferrization technology can also be used to recycle recycled water to remove corrosion products from equipment.
The work was carried out within the framework of the program to support young scientists and teachers of the D. I. Mendeleev UCTR (Application K-2020-015).
