Реферат

At the present stage of development, it becomes obvious that the Western model of the global world order, which Russia has been integrated into since the early 1990s, has objectively run aground. This circumstance accelerates the strengthening of the sovereign foundations of Russia. One of the key processes in the new logic of events is the training and education of the young generation of highly qualified personnel, focused on solving large-scale development problems of Russia, having a clear matrix of personal qualities and an internal system of conservative values of a statesman-creator. Using the example of the “Platovskaya Sotnya” strategic project implementation by the Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI), the paper considers the model of educational work and extracurricular activities of mining students with regard to ethno-cultural identity of the Cossacks. In modern conditions, the problem of continuity in mining engineer training is solved by taking into account the historical experience of the national mining school, when this sphere of life activities was organized on a paramilitary basis. The training of mining engineers in military programs, the internal regulations, the specifics of training in the corps of mining engineers, and later at the Mining Institute, together with the boom in coal mining in the Province of the Don Cossacks Host made this profession attractive for the Don Cossacks. They found it an opportunity to serve to their Homeland in the civilian arena. Among them, there were professors Ivan V. Mushketov and Dmitry I. Mushketov, Nikolai P. Aseev, mine owner Arkady V. Minenkov and others. In 1907, with the establishment of the Don Polytechnic Institute, and a mining faculty arranged among its four faculties, training of mining engineers began in Novocherkassk. Today, the university pays special attention to the promotion of patriotism among mining students. Based on the historical traditions of the Don Cossacks, the students are being prepared for selfless service to their Homeland in the military and civilian fields.
