Реферат

The described control system has been put into practice at the No. 1 rolling mill of thyssenkrupp Europe plant in Duisburg. The first testings have been conducted for ordinary rolled material, later – for special steel grades. Statistical analysis covered 18,000 coils, and each rolled strip has been described via absolute mathematical expectation and standard deviation of measured thickness wedging along the strip length. The average values of these parameters for different steels are presented. It is stated that absolute mathematical expectation of thickness wedging point doesn’t vary, but standard wedging thickness deviation along strip length can be improved substantially, not depending on steel grades. Passed durable testings were characterized by absence of any technological violations caused by mistakes in strip motion control in comparison with 0.1 % metal rejects standard value, what is completely allowable. The developed measuring and control system is now permanently used at the No. 1 rolling mill of thyssenkrupp Europe plant in Duisburg.
