The paper describes preventing coupling that is built-in the driving mechanism between the motor and gear box of the planing cart. This equipment is incorporated in the powerful extruding press for processing of flat rolled metal products, for consequent fabrication of large-diameter tubes used in gas pipelines. This preventing coupling transfers torque and protects other components of driving system, including equalizing of definite shaft displacement. Usage of the new coupling provides higher resistance, better operating reliability and lowering of operation expenses.
