Abstract

feature of sectional pumps had fitted in pump chambers of the main drainage of underground kimberlite mines “Udachniy” and “Mir” is the low mean time between their capital repairs. One of the most negative effects of low magnitude are signifi cant financial costs for the purchase of expensive base parts (impeller, shaft, etc.), ranging from 2 to 5 million rubles for a single pump, depending on its degree of deterioration and the model. Every year on the capital repairs of the sectional pumps of the main drainage of mines expends a total of above 20 million rubles. In connection with the regular reduction of funds for the operation of process and auxiliary equipment, we consider that the increase the overhaul period of operation of pumps of the main drainage of underground kimberlite mines “Udachiy” and «Mir” is one of the priorities for the management of the Udachninskiy and Mirninskiy GOKs “ALROSA”. In the article, using correlation-regression analysis established the most signifi cant factors affecting on durability of unit of hydropath of the sectional pumps underground kimberlite mines, геmoval of the which in longer term will increase the overhaul period of operation of these pumps. Studies have shown that on speed hydroabrasive wear of unit of the hydropath and on the time to failure affects pressure of the sectional pump. To increase the between-repairs periods of the pumps of the main drainage underground kimberlite mines “Udachiy” and “Mir” is necessary to reduce the abrasiveness produced by them is of high-pressure fluid flow, for example by commissioning additional ponds that will improve the process of clarifi cation of the pumped mine water. Also by results of the conducted research is proposed to reduce the acceleration and deceleration of pump units of main drainage of kimberlite underground mine “Mir” to 10 seconds (drainage unit KGW-2).
