Реферат

We developed a new technology of pyrometallurgical processing of electric arc furnace dusts with introduction of calcium oxide in charge. This technology includes dust mixing with calcium oxide, mixture pelletization, pellets processing in rotating furnace at the temperature of 900–1100 oC. At the same time, lead and halides, contained in electric arc furnace, are transferred in sublimates. Sublimates, containing lead and zinc chlorides and fluorides, are under hydrometallurgical processing, which formed the products for metallic lead obtaining, zinc-bearing recycle product and solutions for obtaining of salt marketable products. Calcium ferrite and zinc oxide remain in clinker. Zinc oxide is sent to the “wet” grinding and leaching of zinc by sodium hydroxide solution. Non-soluble residue (calcium ferrite) is washed and sent for use in ferrous metallurgy, cement industry or traffic engineering. Cementation is used for purification of obtained zincate solution from impurities. As a monodisperse powder, zinc is extracted from purified solution by electrolytic method. Spent electrolyte is the recycle product: it is used for clinker leaching. Application of this technology obtains the zinc powder with the particle size of lesser than 20 μm and zinc content of 99.9%. This powder may be used as reagent for cementation purification of solutions from impurities in hydrometallurgical zinc production.
